The family lived in Crescent Township, Logan County, Utah, and in Palisade Township, Bonneville County, Idaho, where Ralph was enumerated as a farmer in 1920 and as a proprietor of a hotel in 1930, at which time Rosa was listed as a manager of the hotel. 785 Living next door in Bonneville County in 1920 was cousin Robert W. HUNTER, born August 1859; he was of the Fagundus, Pennsylvania, area, either Forest or Warren County.787. In 1900 the family was living in Sharpsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; and in 1910, they were in Eldred Township, Warren County, Pennsylvania. In 1930, Eleanor was a widow living with her son Carl, not married, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (census page 9B), where Carl was listed as a laborer.

I have not been able to connect this John Hunter with the other Hunters associated with our lines. John Hunter would be of the right generation of Forest County Hunters to have been a son of George S. (son of William Hunter and grandson of Poland Hunter), and Adeline Scott Hunter. John and Eleanor did name their second son George.
